Public Environmental Involvement and Participation

Public Environmental Involvement and Participation Providing the means for the general public to express their concerns and offer suggestions and insight into ALDOT’s operations and future plans can benefit both ALDOT and the citizen. Public involvement is required by regulations governing environmental planning for construction projects utilizing federal funds and also required as one of the Six Minimum Control Measures included in ALDOT’s MS4 permit. 

Tasks:

• Create, maintain, and communicate policies for environmental planning
• Execute policies, quality control, internal reporting for environmental planning
• Create, maintain, communicate and execute policies, quality control, planning internal reporting for MS4
• Compliance assurance
