WELCOME!

Thank you for your interest.  This web page provides information about the Coliseum Boulevard Plume (CBP), an area in north-central Montgomery, Alabama, that contains trichloroethylene (TCE) in the groundwater.  Investigation, management, and cleanup of the groundwater is being conducted by the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT).

The Alabama Department of Transportation, with oversight by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM), and the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), has determined through its investigations that there is no exposure to the residents in this area.  The drinking water, which is provided by the Montgomery Water Works and Sanitary Sewer Board is safe, separate, and unaffected by the TCE in groundwater in the CBP.
