Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

Manages the department's safety program and coordinates wellness services and screenings to
include blood drives, flu immunizations, and blood pressure checks.


The Recruiting Section is responsible for recruiting qualified applicants, advertising job
classifications, processing applications and corresponding with applicants.

Risk Management Section coordinates with the Department of Finance, Division of Risk
Management, and the third-party administrator to provide payments to physicians, hospitals, and other
health providers for on-the-job injuries; etc. Also, the Department’s Drug and Alcohol testing program is
administered by the Risk Management Section.
