Research Section

Research Mission:
To Promote the use of innovation and emerging technology in transportation through research and development for the Alabama Department of Transportation.

The Research Section manages research projects for ALDOT. These projects are conducted by Research Partners on many topics of importance to the various bureaus of ALDOT. Proposals for projects are reviewed by the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) at quarterly meetings.
