Project Overview

Location: Pell City (St. Clair County)

In Person Meeting: July 8, 2021

Thank you for visiting our website.
ALDOT is proposing to improve the intersection on AL-34 at Cropwell Drive and Hardwick Road in St. Clair County. The proposed project is located within the Town limits of Cropwell, AL, approximately 2.5 miles south of downtown Pell City. Three legs of the intersection are controlled by a ‘stop’ sign. The fourth leg of AL-34, has a free flow left turn at Cropwell Drive. A proposed roundabout will be constructed to replace the current configuration.

Additional right-of-way is required for this project construction.
Please see the project information map and video below.
ALDOT is conducting online public involvement for the proposed project. All comments regarding this project must be received on or before July 30, 2021.
