In-Person and Online Public Involvement: Access Management on Vaughn Road

Project Overview

Location: Montgomery (Montgomery County)

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is proposing access management along Vaughn Road at the intersection of AL‐8 (US‐231/ Eastern Boulevard) in Montgomery, Alabama. The proposed project will modify existing driveways and add additional turn lanes onto the Eastern Boulevard to improve traffic flow.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.

ALDOT is conducting in-person and online public involvement for the proposed project. All comments regarding this project must be submitted on or before July 28, 2023.

INVOLVEMENT MEETING

State of Alabama Department of Transportation will hold a Public Involvement Meeting on Project No. ATRP2-51-2023-349.

This informal meeting will be held as follows:
Tuesday, July 18, 2023
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
