In Person and Online Public Involvement: Intersection Improvements at US-43 and Mitt Lary Road

Project Overview

Location: Northport (Tuscaloosa County)

The proposed project will modify the intersection of US-43 and Mitt Lary Road in Northport, Alabama. The proposed work includes the addition of a  right turn lane from US-43 North to eastbound Mitt Lary Road at the signalized intersection and access management in the area of the intersection. These improvements are expected to relieve traffic congestion during the morning and afternoon peak hours.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
