The Permits & Operations Section of the Maintenance Bureau is responsible for permitting utilities and other miscellaneous types of work on State ROW.
The Utilities Section of the Right-of-Way Bureau is responsible for relocating utilities in conflict with highway construction.
Per the Code of Alabama, permits are required from ALDOT for any work that is performed on the State Rights of Way.
