In-Person and Online Public Involvement: Access Management along Cobbs Ford Road

Project Overview

Location: Prattville (Elmore County)

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is proposing to improve traffic flow and address safety concerns by modifying access on AL-6 (US-82) from Bass Pro Boulevard to the I-65 southbound ramp in the City of Prattville, Elmore County, Alabama. The proposed project will modify the existing median openings into designated left-turn, right-turn, or U-turn lanes and remove a redundant driveway. No additional right-of-way will be required. Temporary lane closures will be necessary during construction.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
