Project Overview

Location: Leeds (Jefferson County)

The proposed project is located on AL-119 just outside of Leeds, Alabama. The project proposes to replace the bridge located over Shepard Branch. The replacement bridge will be constructed on new location east of the existing bridge. Right of way will be required for this project. The existing bridge will remain open to traffic during construction and removed once construction of the new bridge is complete.
The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
