Online Public Involvement: US-431 Access Improvements

Project Overview

Location: Glencoe/Wellington (Calhoun County)


The proposed access improvement project is located on US-431 starting at AL-204 and ending at the Etowah County Line. The work includes adding turn lanes along US-431, as well as modifying and/or removing driveways and median crossovers. Construction of the project will be completed under normal traffic operations with intermittent lane closures. No right-of-way is anticipated for the proposed project.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
