Project Overview

Location: Level Plains (Dale/Coffee County)

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is proposing to improve traffic flow and address safety concerns by modifying access and reducing conflict points along AL-12 (US-84) in Coffee and Dale County. The proposed project begins at County Road 709 and ends at County Road 1. The project will add concrete islands in the median to restrict unsafe turning movements and add U-turn lanes to provide access to the opposite side of the roadway.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation.

All comments regarding this project must be submitted on or before Friday, March 7, 2025.

State of Alabama Department of Transportation will hold a Public Involvement Meeting on Project No. HSIP-0012(584).

This informal meeting will be held as follows:
Tuesday, February 25, 2025
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
