What is the Rail-Highway program?
The Rail-Highway Program is located in the Design Bureau and divided amongst two groups, the Section 130 Rail Safety Group and the Construction Agreement Group. The Section 130 Rail Safety Group administers the ALDOT Rail Safety Program as authorized by 23 U.S.C. 130.
The Construction Agreement Group facilitates procurement of agreement with the railroad companies for upcoming construction projects. For inquiries pertaining to the Rail-Highway Program email
