In-Person and Online Public Involvement: Intersection Improvements at AL-14 and Firetower Road

Project Overview

Location: Wetumpka (Elmore County)

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is proposing to improve traffic flow and address safety concerns by modifying access on AL-14 at CR-59 (Firetower Road) in Wetumpka, Elmore County. The proposed project will create a Signalized Green T intersection at AL-14 and Firetower Road. More information about a Green T intersection can be found in the Downloads. The road will remain open during construction. Right of way will be required.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
