The proposed project is located on the Interstate 85 (I-85), approximately 15 miles north of Opelika, Chambers County, Alabama. The project proposes to replace the existing bridges (Northbound and Southbound) over Osanippa Creek with a modern bridge that meets current design standards. The bridges will be replaced on the existing alignment. No detours or additional right-of-way will be required.
The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. ALDOT is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
