Online and In-person Public Involvement: Intersection Improvements on AL-4 and John N. Wills Ave

Project Overview

Location: Eastaboga (Calhoun County)

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is proposing to install a roundabout at the intersection of AL-4 (US-78) and John N. Wills Avenue/Mudd Street in the City of Eastaboga. The existing intersection is a two-way stop. The proposed project will improve the operation of the intersection and address traffic delays. Additional right-of-way will be needed to implement this project. The road will remain open during construction, however intermittent lane closures are expected.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. ALDOT is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.

All comments regarding this project must be submitted on or before Friday, March 13, 2026.
