Environmental Planning & Permitting

The environmental planning & permitting program manages & facilities the National Environmental Policy Act processes and permitting requirements for statewide ALDOT and locally sponsored projects.
The program is an effort to balance the relations between the human and natural environment and obtain the required permits for projects that will provide a safe, efficient and environmentally sound transportations system for all customers.
