School Bus Safety Program

What is the School Bus Safety program?
Nationally, an average of 30 school-aged children die in school bus-related crashes each year - nine as school bus occupants and 22 as pedestrians.

(NHTSA) In Alabama, approximately 350,000 public school students ride school buses daily traveling more than 450,000 miles. Public awareness concerning this issue will help ensure school-aged children and motorists arrive at their destinations safely.
