The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is proposing to replace two adjacently located bridges on AL-6 (US-82/South Blvd) over the CSX Transportation Railroad in Montgomery, Alabama. The proposed project will replace the two existing bridges with one new, wider bridge. No detour will be needed during construction as the existing bridges will remain open to traffic during construction. The project is approximately .23-mile in length. Additional right-of-way will be needed to implement the project.
The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. ALDOT is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
