Online and In-person Public Involvement: Resurfacing and Road Diet on AL-14

Project Overview

Location: Greensboro (Hale County)

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) proposes to resurface AL-14 from west of Holbrook Place to AL-61 in Greensboro, Alabama. The project will also include a road diet. The existing facility will be reconfigured from four (4) travel lanes to two (2) travel lanes and a two-way center left turn lane from Main Street to Tuscaloosa Street. Traffic will remain open during construction. Right of way is not required.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. ALDOT is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.

All comments regarding this project must be submitted on or before Saturday, September 27, 2025.
