Project Overview

Location: Addison (Winston County)

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is proposing improvements to the intersection of AL-74 (US-278) and CR-41 in the Town of Addison, in Winston County, Alabama. The purpose of this project is to improve safety and traffic operations at the intersection. The project will improve safety and traffic flow by realigning Old US-278 to create a conventional four-leg intersection and implementing access management improvements along CR-41 and McHann Road. Additional right-of-way will be required to implement the project. The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
