Project Overview

Location: Strawberry (Blount and Cullman County)

The proposed project is located on AL-53 near the community of Strawberry in Blount County. The project proposes to replace the existing bridge over Warrior Creek with a modern bridge that meets current design standards. The new bridge will be constructed on the existing alignment. The approach roadways will be closed to through traffic during construction and a recommended detour will be signed to include AL-69 and AL-67. Additional right of way will be needed to implement the proposed improvements.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. ALDOT is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
