Project Overview

Location: Guntersville (Marshall County)

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) proposes to resurface AL-227 from Signal Point Road to US-431 in Guntersville, Alabama. The project will also include a road diet, wherein the existing facility will be reconfigured from four (4) travel lanes to two (2) travel lanes and a two-way center left turn lane. Traffic will remain open during construction. Right of way will not be required.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
